Cooperation Kamax

The Clausthal University of Technology cooperates with the automotive supplier KAMAX in research, development and teaching in the field of materials, production and manufacturing technology.

Information about the company KAMAX:

1. the KAMAX Group employs around 3,500 people at twelve locations worldwide. Group turnover reached € 787 million in 2018. The core business has been the development and manufacture of high-strength fasteners and complex cold-formed parts for the global automotive industry for over 80 years.

2 The KAMAX Group has its headquarters in Homberg (Ohm). In addition to the Group's management company (KAMAX Holding), a central company for sales, purchasing and development (KAMAX Automotive), a company for the development and manufacture of tools and production equipment (KAMAX Tools & Equipment), this is also the headquarters of the German production company. It has sites in Homberg (Ohm) and Alsfeld in the Central Hesse region. A further production plant is located in Osterode (Harz).

3. the KAMAX Group is growing steadily, especially internationally. A new plant recently started production in León, Mexico. The company is now represented in America, Asia and Europe with ten production sites.
