Polymer systems, microsensor technology and biologization
This term not only stands for an innovative research cluster, but also for "Innovation made in Clausthal!"
Biologization is the collective term for the increasing integration of principles from nature into modern fields of research and technology. This process of change is largely driven by materials science. There are many different fields of application for innovative applications of biotechnology. Particularly important areas are medical technology, bio-based processes and implants, orthopaedics, diagnostics, bio-based sensors or sensors integrated into structures and modified surfaces for bio-driven processes. Innovative materials science and technical processes are combined with biological applications and digitalization.
Behind this term lies not only an innovative research cluster, but also "Innovation made in Clausthal!".
